Royal Albert Hall, London
The Royal Albert Hall is probably the best-known concert building in Great Britain, treating some 2 million guests a year to acoustic cultural delights ranging from rock to classical. Events held at the venue include the famous “Proms”, the traditional summer concerts. The building is modelled on an ancient amphitheatre
and is also a testament to Victorian architecture through its distinctive dome.
The interior seats 8,400 visitors, 1,300 of which belong to permanent owners, but most of which are made available to the general public during events.
